At True-Human Signature, we practice catch-and-release fishing using reef-safe lures, respect local quotas, and support coral restoration efforts through the Reef Protection Programme.

Catch-and-Release

When fishing offshore, we practise catch-and-release methods using top-water and sub-surface lures. These lures are designed to imitate how predatory fish naturally feed, with the added benefit of protecting the reefs below.

We are proud to use some of the best lures in the world, including poppers and stickbaits from Black Ledge Lures.

Respecting Local Traditions and Quotas

While fishing, we also respect local traditions and quotas, and recognise that fishing provides a vital source of income for local people. We will never stand in the way of local fishermen who are regulated to take what their respective governments allow.

Instead, we will always pay them a fair price when chartering boats or using their services, and encourage sustainable fishing practices.

Our default is catch-and-release, preferably with tagging to help monitor the fish population.

Reef Protection Programme

Our expeditions include the Reef Protection Programme. We want to help protect the marine ecosystem, and will contribute resources for coral restoration efforts. This means planting corals and raising awareness about the importance of protecting the reefs and marine life for future generations.
